Thanks to volunteers for cleaning the Rec & Pruning

Thank you to all those who braved the cold and damp weather on 11th February to help with pruning and weeding the fruit trees in the community orchard.

The trees are all growing well and the stakes and chicken wire have now been removed.

The infant play equipment was also pressure washed (thanks to Bingo for the pressure washer loan) as the matting had become quite slippery.

The bench in the infant play area has also been replaced.

Thank you to 77 Committee

Thank you so much to the 77 committee and all their helpers for the delicious meal they provided for the over sixties of the village, at the end of January. We are very fortunate to have such a lovely event provided and the effort that goes into the meal and the entertainment is greatly appreciated.
