The A14 bridge between Dry Drayton and Oakington will be closed from 9.30am until 8pm on Monday 20 November and there will be two- way traffic lights the following day.
The next walk is on Saturday the 18th November and will be led by Rob Taylor. It is 4 ½ miles and begins in the car park of ‘The Swan on the River’ at Littleport.
Rampton residents leave the Green at 9.00am. the walk begins at 9.45 from Littleport. We return to the pub for lunch where non walkers are welcome to join us.

Will take place on the weekend of 17/18/19 November at Swavesey Village College. Lots of reasonably priced original artworks,cards and prints for sale just in time for Christmas. Cafe, children’s art activities and an art installation and free entry at the weekend. Tickets for the Friday Preview £5, available on the door or on-line from 24th October at Swavesey Box Office.

Fun with words: try your hand at creative writing
Free weekly classes at Madingley Hall in Autumn 2017
If you fancy having fun with words these free courses are for you. It doesn’t
matter if you haven’t written since you were at school or if you’re a secret
scribbler; you can be 19 or 90; we’d love you to join us!
Each of the three courses will run for five weeks, with a weekly class from 10am to noon. They will be led by authors Derek Niemann and Elizabeth Speller.

If you’re having a private fireworks display please be safe and considerate to your neighbours. Letting off loud fireworks can be a disturbance late at night and when they land they may cause damage to your neighbour’s property, or distress their pets / livestock.
The recent Wine tasting evening was a great success raising £573 for Friends funds after expenses had been paid.
