Annual Parish Meeting 2016 – Walking Group

Report for Annual Parish Meting 2016

Walking Group

The walking group has now been in existence for three years, our first walk was on Saturday 23rd March 2013, it was just about the worst weather conditions that we have walked in, horizontal snow storm. It did not put us off and we have since enjoyed many walks in all parts of the county and beyond.

We walk once a month on Saturday mornings and take it in turn to find a walk and then lead it and organise a pub for lunch to follow. There are about sixteen walkers in total although we don’t ever have everybody there at once, some are more regular than others.

We have enjoyed many pleasant lunches and are usually joined by between six and eight village friends who drive out and join us for lunch, they have become known as ‘the revellers’.
