The Rampton ’77 Committee needs your muscles, your strength, your stamina, your flexibility – and your youth!
In recent years we’ve worked to improve the appearance of the village with bunting in the summer and festive lights and a Christmas tree on the Green at Christmas. These amenities are at risk without some willing hands, knees, feet, shoulders, etc! The committee has found the physical work more and more taxing recently. The bottom line is that we can’t do it anymore.
Ahhh. Sad but true. We need some help.
The events that the committee sponsors throughout the year for the village – especially the Summer Fayre and Tea on the Green – are also at risk. If these events are to continue, we need some younger and fitter folk who could be available for an hour or more for one or more events: to help with the Christmas tree and lights, the bunting plus setting up and taking down for events.
What do I do?
You don’t need to join the committee (though new members are always welcome!). All you need to do is call Judy Garstang on 250960 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org and put your name on the list. Get in touch today – please 😉
Priority: if we have enough volunteers, we hope to put up the Christmas tree and lights on Saturday 6th December. If you can help, please let us know.
A huge thanks in anticipation!
