We are pleased that Peter Dunkley has joined as a member of Rampton Parish Council and welcome him. We are still one councillor short so if you feel you could help our village please do contact us.
Please note the following dates for residents and Rampton groups that wish to put forward reports or say how the council can help them or just have their say about anything that concerns them.
- Annual Parish Meeting 29th April at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
- Grant applications from groups should be sent to the Clerk before 20th April.
We are also looking for someone that is interested in trees, is observant and would like to volunteer to help by being the villages tree warden. No expertise is needed as some basic training will hopefully be provided. We envisage that trees on RPC maintained land are inspected periodically and after poor weather conditions. We would also like to thank Gilbert for his services in this role over the last decade or two.
Toddler Play Area
Rampton Parish Council are pleased to announce that the new play equipment has been successfully installed as planned for the youngsters in the village to enjoy now the weather has improved. We would very much appreciate any feedback you would like to give on its impact to local residents and their families. This will help immensely when we report back to the National Lottery Fund, whom we would like to thank for supporting this project.
For further information on these roles and events please contact Claire the Clerk – email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 252641.
