The Charity is looking for someone to take over the Clerk’s position. The income comes from the rent received from a 12 acre field down Reynolds Drove. The land was donated to the village in 1926 and has given grants over the years to parishioners who need financial help and to contribute to educational activities of people under the age to 22.
The Charity meets three times a year. The Clerk’s role involves taking the Minutes at the meetings, receiving requests for grants and issuing the payments when awarded by the Trustees. A small financial remuneration is provided.
